On the other hand, it is important for kids to see how tough we handle turmoil. How strong we are and how we can get through these tough times and it will be ok. Plus, how we use and keep our faith during difficulties.

Emotions are high for everyone in my house right now. We’re in a tough space and it’s hard to move forward like this. I don’t worry so much about what other people say to me, I worry more about how I react to my kids when all our emotions are high. I want to help them learn to handle their emotions by showing them I can handle mine, but I’m not there yet. We’re all a work in progress.

Shellie, yes! It is so hard putting your emotions aside to keep stability for your kids. Kids need to feel safe and secure and as parents, that is one of our hardest jobs, to not let fear penetrate them through what we are feeling. Hang in there, this too shall pass.
      Thanks for reaching out,
